EXPERIENCE OF AGILE PRACTICES
Projekt Mars
- 1 hour
- 4 - 12 participants
Participants play the roles of Mars colonizers. Their task is to build a prosperous space base within 3 months (3 rounds). Each round consists of a planning phase and a very fast and intensive execution phase, when the player must implement their plans.
Each task has a specific priority and point value. Some tasks are essential to the success of the entire mission, while others merely tempt with a high number of points.
After each round the participants sum up their work, revise the plan.
The game illustrates the agile way of working – short sprints, summaries and verification, and the Scrum Master function. It is an opportunity to observe and experience agile practices.
Participants practice:
- action planning,
- verification of assumptions,
- task prioritization,
- information management,
- task and team management,
- effective cooperation,
- working under time pressure.
Online version:
