EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION TRAINING
Colourblind
- 30 - 40 minutes
- 5 + participants
The participants’ task is to identify the missing elements in the set – it is necessary to identify their shape and color. They can use only verbal communication (their eyes are covered). They confront different communication styles, use feedback and clarification skills to check if they understand everything correctly.
The exercise itself is very simple, while the process of communication is complex – to complete the task, participants learn and use advanced communication techniques.
Since Geoff Cox developed the exercise in 1991, Colourblind has become a classic experiential learning tool. It is used around the world and is praised for its power and diversity.

- Practicing effective listening skills and improving questioning skills
- Introducing flexibility in communication and linguistic changes and modifications to meet the needs of the listener
- Understanding that communication is closely related to a specific culture and therefore common reference points are needed to reach agreement
