A simulation about building an organizational culture based on trust. In Volcano trust is the key to the story. The players are divided into two teams (the Castaways and the Locals), which face a variety of challenges that require them to make quick and accurate decisions. From the very beginning, the every decision affect the subsequent stages of the game.
The game refers to the concept of the „Emotional Bank Account”, which Stephen R. Covey described in his worldwide bestseller „The Seven Habits of Effective Action”. Covey shows that neither the market nor the team is effective until there is trust in it.
