A SIMULATION ABOUT TEAM CREATION, WORKING OUT THE RULES OF COOPERATION AND ACHIEVING A COMMON GOAL
The New Commons Game
- 1 - 1,5 hours (+ discussion)
- 14 + participants
Participants assume the role fishing companies owners, making a living by catching fish in a shared lake. As a result of the reduction of the lake’s resources and the risk of losing fishing opportunities altogether, the fishermen have to find a way that nevertheless ensures that they can continue to fish and earn a living.
The New Commons Game is a metaphor for an organization and how it operates in diverse teams with diverse people. The management of the fishing area proves to be an excellent opportunity for the participants to interactively experience the collaboration and its challenges.
