INCREASE EFFICIENCY OF OPERATIONS THROUGH COORDINATION

Matter of Time

A simulation about how to increase the efficiency of activities by coordinating them.

Matter of Time is a company in a nutshell, a simulator of the mechanisms taking place in it, the co-dependencies, and the challenges. It shows it in a feverish state, i.e. in a situation where it is necessary to react quickly and efficiently, because every moment may prove decisive. The key in this context is to prioritize the tasks at hand, conduct an analysis and correctly order the tasks to be carried out.

Participants take on the roles of representatives of 3 departments of a large company – technical, administrative, and sales (the game does not require participants to know this area). The company is facing the move next week to a new office. The task of each participant (representing one of the three departments) is to organize their work in a way to achieve the goals set for their department, while efficiently preparing it for the move.

📌 Great game, fun, interesting conclusions.

📌 I’ll use it at work and in life for sure!

📌 I learned: a few things about myself, many mechanics that accompany the planning and management process, and how to work in a team.
