    What an integration meeting is?
    The integration meeting is a great opportunity to bond and motivate the team (at the stage of teambuilding or competence development). By using integration activities we can combine the useful and the pleasant – an appealing form of spending the time while solving problems as well as enhancing strengths and the collaboration will at the same time. The application of games and simulations in team integrations or the whole organization community will help achieve the stablished goals and build teams capable of overcoming any challenge. It is the dream of every organization to have engaged employees and a well-knit team is the goal of every manager and team leader. 

    The goal of employees integration 
    A well-prepared integration meeting can have a very efficacious influence on relationships within the team and help improve the atmosphere within the organization. It is worth using the tools consciously and realize the possible benefits of an integration meeting. Regardless of the main goal of the meeting being the improvement of communication and collaboration skills or raise of trust and satisfaction resulting from the sense of belonging to the team. The organization of the integration meeting should be adjusted to the needs of the team in order to raise their engagement. It is also worth considering which activity could be attractive for the participants and matching the specificity of the industry at the same time. 

    Why is integration important? 
    To put it simply integration is based on connecting –  people within teams (teambuilding), new employees with the structures of the company (onboarding) as well as company departments having to collaborate to achieve a common goal. Integration meetings conducted with games enable to build positive relations between employees and employer and can have a positive impact on the creativity and motivation. Moreover, having fun together helps to reduce stress and tensions that naturally appear in the context of collaboration. 

    Why organizing integration meetings? 
    A well-knit team works more efficiently, communicates better and deals with problems more effectively. Regardless of the fact that the team consists of people having worked together for years or the building of the team has only started – spending time together on neutral ground helps to improve communication and reduce the risk of possible conflicts within the team. In the context of a diminishing engagement and permanent remote work, the integration of the team seems crucial. The team is eager for informal contacts, opportunities to talk and do together something outside of work. 

    Is an integration online possible? 

    This is the question asked by many managers. We asked ourselves the same question in Pracownia Gier in March 2020 when, from the organizer of large integration meetings, we were forced to digitalize our method and provide the participants with similarly engaging and engrossing experience, but online. That is how the portfolio of online integrations was created – to this day hundreds of organizations have already collaborated with us in organizing integrations for teams consisting of several as well as several hundred people. On many occasions we have refuted the myth stating that an integration online is not possible by receiving from integration participants a satisfaction survey with ratings 6 out of 6. Taking into account an appropriate gradation of tasks difficulty level and attractiveness, we are able to engage people to online activities as well. Our satisfied clients who decided to integrate their teams using online games can confirm that it is feasible.

    It is a particularly positive and fortifying experience. The game, which is an integral part of the meeting, can help understand what the Gallup’s Talents are and what impact they have on the efficiency of collaboration.

    Each training game, apart from the entertaining aspect, is aimed at emphasizing some aspects of collaboration. The metaphors included in the game inspire refection on one’s own attitudes.
